Tas: Missing cavers found

HOBART, Dec 16 AAP - Four cavers have been found safe and well after going missing
in Tasmania's remote south-west.

The team of four inexperienced cavers had been scheduled to leave the Midnight Hole
caves in Ida Bay about 3.30am (AEDT) today.

They were reported missing at 9am by associates, and a rescue team of SES workers,
police and national park rangers was dispatched.

But national park rangers indicated at 2.15pm that the cavers had been found, police said.

"The information was that they are safe and well, and are walking out," police said.
